Ever since I can remember, I have been creating art. The plain white paper drawings I did at age 2 of small, precise circles are long tucked away in my parent’s basement, but I still vividly remember this being the start to my fascination with drawing and composition. Through years of creating “storybooks” (more pages of white paper stapled together), copying book covers in detail, and creating my own unique characters, it was apparent that I had a knack for this stuff.
All through High School and the Pre-College Program at RISD, I built a portfolio made up of figure drawings, pen and ink renderings, and dusty pastel pieces. Once accepted into Syracuse University in 1996, I began my quest for an Illustration degree. After dabbling in fashion design, painting, photography, and even Division 1 rowing (which was just as big of a commitment as my classes), I emerged victorious with a solid work ethic and the skills I needed for a career in illustration and design.
I built my young resume with freelance illustration projects, internships at Seventeen Magazine and Betsey Johnson in New York City, entry-level work, and mid-level design jobs at various agencies in New Hampshire and Boston. After working as a senior designer at the NH marketing firm Gigunda Group in 2004, I made the decision to continue my career on my own, first as Meredith Noyes Design, and then under the current name of MSNCreate.
Since then we have built a roster of clients across the country that have utilized our services to improve the presentation of their businesses. From large marketing companies to small businesses, MSNCreate’s reasonable prices, efficient timelines, and eye-catching designs have generated many cherished referrals and relationships.
